NEWARK, N.J. (June 21, 2025) — New Jersey-born middleweight contender Vito Mielnicki Jr. returns to his home state TONIGHT to face Poland's Kamil Gardzielik in the 10-round main event at Prudential Center in Newark.
This marks the fifth appearance at Prudential Center for Mielnicki (20-1-1, 12 KOs), who turned pro at the venue as a 17-year-old high school student in 2019. Gardzielik (19-0, 4 KOs) is fighting for the first time outside of Poland, and he's making his 2025 debut after going 2-0 last year.
In the 10-round middleweight co-feature, a long-standing grudge will be settled, as Brooklyn-born Jahi Tucker (14-1-1, 6 KOs) takes on Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson (15-2, 9 KOs).
Mielnicki-Gardzielik, Tucker-Simpson, and undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT. Tucker-Simpson will start at approximately 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with the main event set to begin at roughly 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
